Brewery

We have installed a 2 barrel plant into the cellars of the North Riding for producing beers just for the pub (and occasional beer festivals).
We are currently brewing once a week but are going to increase to twice a week in the very near future.

The brewlength is actually 7 firkins due to the size of the kettle we use. It is a full mash brew and our malt is supplied by Bairds.  We use Farams in Worcester as our hop supplier although the varieties of hops we have are American and New Zealand.

The first beer, "Riding First", a 4.4% pale ale first hit the bar on Sunday 23rd of January.

"R.P.A 3.8%" was launched at the official brewery opening on Wednesday 9th of February.

The brewery was officially opened by Mike Webdale, Scarborough CAMRA chairman,on wednesday 9th February 2011
Our core range of beers are:

Neilson's sauvin 3.7% pale ale

Peasholm pale ale 4.3% pale ale

Fat Lads Mild 4.5% dark mild

We normally produce 2 monthly specials aswell
